Flower Care
Caring for Your Fresh Flowers
To ensure your beautiful arrangement stays fresh and vibrant for as long as possible, follow these simple care tips:
- For Long-Stem Arrangements:
Unwrap with Care
Gently remove all packaging while keeping the arrangement intact. If your bouquet is hand-tied, avoid cutting the binding string unless you wish to rearrange it.
Trim the Stems:
Using clean, sharp scissors or a knife, cut 1–2 cm at an angle from the base of each stem. This allows the flowers to absorb water more effectively.
Prepare a Clean Vase:
Fill a vase with room-temperature water and add the flower food provided with your arrangement. Stir until dissolved.
Arrange Your Flowers:
Place the flowers in the vase, ensuring that no leaves or foliage are submerged in the water to prevent bacterial growth.
Choose the Right Spot:
Keep your flowers in a cool, shaded area, away from direct sunlight, drafts, or heat sources like radiators. Avoid placing them near ripening fruits, as the ethylene gas can cause flowers to wilt prematurely.
Refresh Daily:
Change the water and re-trim the stems every 2–3 days to maintain freshness. Be sure to clean the vase thoroughly before refilling it with fresh water.
- For Short-Stem Arrangements with Wet Sponge:These designs are created to stay intact. Do not rearrange them, as it may compromise the structure and freshness of the flowers.
Handle with Love:
Some flowers, like roses and lilies, may bloom further after delivery. Remove any wilting petals or leaves to keep the arrangement looking its best.
By following these steps, your arrangement will stay beautiful and elegant for days to come. If you have any questions or need further assistance, don’t hesitate to contact us!
